Today 17 January, an emergency demo was called in front of the Thai embassy to protest at the threatened deportation of 48 Uyghur refugees to China. The picket demanded their immediate release, as they have been detained for 11 years in terrible conditions. International Federation of Iraqi refugees-IFIR attended the demo supporting the demands of the protest against deportation to China. Dashty Jamal on behalf of IFIR gave a massage of solidarity and signed the campaigns open letter that was handed to officials at the Thailand Embassy in London.
