International Federation of Iraqi Refugees (IFIR) condemns the murder of teacher Samuel Paty. Samuel was murdered yesterday evening (16 October) as he left the school close to Paris where he taught. The terrorist murdered Samuel because in a lesson discussing freedom of speech, Samuel showed the Children Charlie Hebdo cartoons of Mohammed, that led to the attack on the Charlie Hebdo office and murder of journalists in January 2015.
IFIR sends condolences to Samuel’s family, friends and colleagues and children at the school where Samuel worked.
